Jesus calming the storm is a story that will hopefully teach us that by taking the plunge, the heroic nature of Jesus will become crystal clear. When it comes to following Jesus, we are going to be really frustrated if we try to wade into our relationship with him. Sometimes we just need to jump right in and not play it safe!
