For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Following Jesus’ example of service, He has called us to not only make disciples of all nations, but to serve our community and the world as well.
This service heart begins in our own community and spreads to our state, our nation, and our world. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries, both inside the church and beyond.

MISSIONS

be a blessing

Living Stones Church seeks to live out the love of Christ by actively serving our community and supporting ministries that are making a difference both locally and around the world. Through church wide outreach events, LifeGroup initiatives, and financial partnerships, our church family works together to meet practical needs and share the hope of the gospel with people in meaningful ways. Our members often serve by preparing and delivering meals, collecting food and clothing for families in need, spending time with those who are often overlooked, organizing Christmas gift drives, and using their skills to help repair and improve facilities for ministries that serve the vulnerable.

We are grateful to have partnered with several local organizations that are doing incredible work in our community. In addition to our local partnerships, we also support international ministry efforts through Samaritan’s Purse and Feed The Hunger, helping extend compassion and relief to people in need around the world. Through these partnerships, Living Stones Church seeks to be a blessing and faithfully represent the heart of Christ wherever there is need.

In Genesis 12:2-3, God tells Abraham, "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I  will make your name great and you will be a blessing." In the same way, the ministry of Living Stones Church is made possible through a team of volunteers who faithfully serve and use their gifts to bless others.

Our "Be A Blessing" ministry serves in the Katy community to make an impact and exude the character of Christ.  Scripture reminds us that Christ came to serve and not to be served.  Together, as a church family, we strengthen our commitment to our community and to Christ through impactful volunteer opportunities and fun, faith-filled environments!
